The event was the result of collaboration between the high school’s art department, Lisa Cunha’s fashion marketing and project management classes, and the DECA club. The DECA club aims to educate students who will become leaders or entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management by applying skills learned in the classroom to real-world business scenarios.
The show featured outfits in the following categories: seasons, sports, formal wear, streetwear, business casual, color/tones, wearable art, trendy, indie/boho and comfy casual.
Cunha said the wearable art category of the fashion show was one of her favorites. Hathon explained that students made the outfits.
